Your eight-chapter Slingo course

Each chapter lets you try a rule on the board. Prepared results help you learn; when you finish, you start a free-play round with random results.

01

Your first Slingo

Spin, watch matching numbers mark, and complete your first line. Find the five rows, five columns, and two diagonals.

02

The Joker

Place a Joker in its own column and see how a single choice can finish a Slingo.

03

Super Joker & multiple lines

Choose any open square with a Super Joker and complete more than one line with one mark.

04

Rewards & misses

Try a coin, see a Devil halve the score, and learn why a number sometimes adds no new mark.

05

Free & extra spins

Save free spins, discover the three-award cap, and choose between an extra spin and keeping your score.

06

Four corners & X

Mark the four corner squares, then both diagonals, to collect these practice-pattern bonuses.

07

Cross & outer frame

Complete the middle row and column, then all the edge squares. Pattern bonuses stack with Slingo lines.

08

Full-card finale

Fill all 25 squares, celebrate the full-card bonus, and finish ready for a fresh random game.

What is Slingo?

Slingo combines a numbered grid with reels that reveal numbers and special symbols. In the familiar 5×5 format, five marked squares across, down, or diagonally form a Slingo. The rules and features vary between games.

The game on this page is our independent practice version. It awards points instead of money. Our directory describes separate branded games and links to developer sources so you can check their features.

Learn first. Then make it your game.

The eight-chapter course uses prepared boards and reel results so you can try each rule yourself, from your first line to a full card. There is no timer, and you can leave the course for free play at any time.

In free play, start a fresh random card with 15 spins. Numbers mark automatically, and you place the wilds. Random results can miss; the teaching course does not predict what will happen in a free-play round. All points have no cash value.

Our guides also describe other Slingo titles using published sources. Those games are separate from this site's practice version.

Frequently asked questions

How do I learn to play Slingo?

Start the free interactive course on the home page. Eight short chapters guide you through number matching, all 12 Slingo lines, Jokers, special symbols, four bonus patterns, and a full card. The course takes about 5–8 minutes, with no timer.

Can I skip the tutorial?

Yes. Choose the experienced-player option to go straight to a fresh random free-play round. This browser remembers your choice. You can reopen the course later, and you can leave any lesson for free play.

Are the tutorial results random?

No. Teaching boards and reel results are prepared so you can try every rule. Free play uses a new random card and the published symbol probabilities. Tutorial successes do not guarantee a line, pattern, or score in free play.

Which bonus patterns can I make here?

This practice adds four corners (+500), X (+1,500), cross (+1,500), and outer frame (+2,500), each once per round. These bonuses stack with Slingo lines and the full-card bonus. They are this site’s own practice rules, not a claim that every official Slingo game uses these patterns.
